Hello! I’m Mrs. Delgado, and I love being a Wildcat, rarrrr! This is my third year as a school counselor, but yet my 13th year at West Ridge. You may previously remember me in such roles as teaching Tech Systems, Yearbook, Reading, 4th grade at Valley View, and most recently as the Campus Support Specialist in the Wildcat Lab. I am beyond excited to start this new journey as a school counselor to support students, parents, and teachers. My hope in life is that after every encounter I have with someone, they leave feeling loved, heard, and appreciated.
I earned my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State with an emphasis in school counseling and my Bachelors Degree in Applied Learning and Development from UT Austin. Go horns, go!
In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, making ice cream, finding gluten-free cheap eats around Austin, and laughing with my family and friends.
In middle school, I played soccer and volleyball, and never got out of last chair in band.
Here’s to a great year and feel free to come knock on my door!

[email protected] Phone: 512-732-9240 x 32035 I can't even begin to describe how much I love being a part of the amazing WRMS family! I am a long time Austin resident and come from a large Italian family. I completed my BS in Applied Learning and Development at UT Austin in 2003, and I began my career in education as a first grade teacher in Killeen. When I moved home to Austin, I joined the 4th grade team as a teacher at Eanes Elementary, where I spent 7 amazing years. While teaching, I stayed very busy completing my master's degree in Counselor Education at The University of Texas at Austin, graduating in 2015 (Hook 'em Horns!). I have two children- one former and one current student in EISD. My daughter is a sophomore in college, and my son is in the 8th grade. In my spare time, I love to see movies at Alamo Drafthouse, go country dancing, have dinners with friends, and hang with my kiddos. This marks my fifth year as a West Ridge Wildcat- time sure flies when you're having fun!! I can't wait to meet you!! |

Phone: 512-732-9240 x 32031 Hello West Ridge Middle School Families and Friends! I am excited to be here as a counselor at West Ridge Middle School. I started working in EISD in 2004 at Forest Trail Elementary School, where I was a counselor. I took a break in 2008 to stay home with my babies. After that time, I worked in private practice as a behavioral mental health therapist until 2013, when I came back to EISD. I maintain a small private practice and enjoy being here as a counselor at WRMS. I am right here with you parents experiencing the emotions and excitement of middle school parenting. I live in the Eanes School District, and I have a child attending middle school right here at West Ridge Middle School as well as students at Westlake High School. So parents, I walk along side of you and I applaud you, as you do this sometimes difficult, often rewarding, but always very important job as a parent. A little more about my interests for those students who want to know more about me. I enjoy spending time with my children and significant other. I love being outdoors. I have fun biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming, boating, playing soccer, reading, gardening, yoga etc. I also enjoy traveling, cooking, singing and playing the guitar. Although I am not sure how well I play, I play for my own amusement and for that of my family. I look forward to this school year and to meeting so many wonderful families and students here at West Ridge Middle School. |
